5 February 2008 – UNIFEM and International Relief Launch Pilot Stage of IT Use Manual
< div dir = "ltr" align = "left" >< UNIFEM, in partnership with International Relief, has accomplished the pilot version of the manual of information technology (IT) use for rural women, which is part of a project aimed at qualifying female trainers in the IT field. The manual is currently being applied in a pilot stage with the participation of 24 young women from Sabaya centres over 40 training hours in order to test its compatibility with the situation of rural women. The final version of the manual is expected to be ready in March.
