Sabaya is a major programme implemented by UNIFEM in the Occupied Palestinian territory. It was initiated in 2004 in cooperation and partnership with the United Nation Development Program and with support from the Government of Japan. The programme operates and activates women's centres constructed or rehabilitated by the United Nation Development Program in accordance to women's needs in the different locations.
